Year 95 I heard that song "I can Dream" since then Skunk Anansie has followed me everywhere, anytime.
So imagine you're going to see your all time favorite band reunited after about 10 years break.
After 6 months looking at this precious ticket put down on a shelf, that day arrived !

Friday, 20th of nov, Paris, Elysée Montmartre.

I usualy don't like this place cause it's a long and narrow hall but as i arrived one hour before the show I could take place 3 or 4 meters in front of the stage.

Then the four heroes appeared in a deep blue stage. Opening with "Selling Jesus", the extravagant outfit let us discover to the face of Skin little by little. Really angered face, a feline auguring the evening. Oh yes Skunk Anansie wasn't named best brit live act band for nothing !
Skin is brimming with energy. That was a real pleasure to see them on stage, we can feel them havin fun with each other. And they shared it with us !

During "Weak" Skin started to walk on the crowd, but litteraly walk on people ! So we had to help her to remain standing by supporting her shoes. She made several cat steps over 5 meters on our hands

But "On My Hotel T.V." was definitely the high point, we saw her slaming to the back of the hall, then she standed up in front of the bar to continue the song. Haha We didn't knew where to look ; Skin at the back or Cass, Ace and Mark on the stage.
And she cames back the same way.

So in the end as she's slamed two times over my head I might have touched almost every parts of her body...

The sound was fuckin good, people were good, the jokes were good also ^^ That was the most intense, funniest gig I've experimented.

Finaly I realise that I've met Ben Kweller, The Beangrowers and now Skunk Anansie the same year. Three of my favorites artists, not so bad for a crappy year. I now have one month to manage to see Shiina Ringo... Aouch that will be hard.
